Daru Setyorini

Daru Setyorini, a founding committee member of ECOTON in the year 2000, has played various roles and projects in addressing river and wetland ecosystem conservation. She studied mangrove diversity and their ability to absorb heavy metal pollution along Surabaya's East Coast in 1999. As a Brantas River Waterkeeper and member of the Waterkeeper Alliance since 2016, she is deeply involved in protecting water bodies and conducting research on fish diversity and benthic macroinvertebrates to develop effective river assessment guides.
